Kaitlyn Hennie is an actor, storyteller, and emerging creative from Long Island, NY. Known for her natural charisma, quick wit, and grounded emotional depth, she brings honesty and intention to every character she steps into. Her connection to acting began during a period of profound emotional stillness — a time when she realized her heart was working physically but disconnected internally. Discovering performance gave her the freedom to feel again, and that spark grew into a lifelong dedication to the craft.

Her background in competitive athletics shaped her discipline, focus, and strong physical presence, qualities she carries into every rehearsal room and set. Kaitlyn approaches each project with curiosity and a desire to transform — always striving to uncover the contradictions where vulnerability meets strength, humor meets pain, and imagination meets truth.

As a Black mixed-race woman, Kaitlyn is deeply passionate about telling stories that explore identity, love, belonging, and the layered, often-overlooked complexities of Black girlhood and womanhood. She seeks to expand how people imagine characters like her, offering audiences nuance, depth, and a humanity that resonates long after the curtain falls. Her work is rooted in connection — in showing people themselves echoed through a character, and in awakening hearts, minds, and spirits through storytelling.

Kaitlyn received her B.A. in Theatre: Acting/Directing with a minor in Education from Binghamton University. Her training includes The Freeman Studio and the Summer Conservatory at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Favorite credits include Rosalind (As You Like It), Olga (Three Sisters), and Virtue (Anything Goes).

Curious and ambitious, Kaitlyn considers herself a sponge — always learning, stretching, and elevating her craft. Beyond acting, she explores creativity through modeling, fashion, music, and travel, all of which feed her artistic voice. No matter the medium, Kaitlyn’s mission remains the same: to take up space, transform fully, and use her work to spark conversation, reflection, and emotional awakening.

Whether on stage, on camera, or in the process of discovering what’s next, Kaitlyn is committed to building a career rooted in truth, courage, and connection — and ultimately, in changing the world with her art.
